The Padres roster is a mess, some don't have contract info. The only player I see worth tagging is Cervelli. This is going to be extreamly hard to find a taker for them, the team man like no talent.

Whoever contacted Dave re the Padres, thank you. I agree with your assessment of the O's. I can try to find an owner for them on Rotoworld if we are sure we need an owner.

I have updated the O's spreadsheet. For 2016 they have a little over $23M left in cap. For 2017 a little over $37M in cap. Since they have Kluber and Stanton, among others with expiring contracts at the end of 2016 I would recommend that they stay in Tier #3 so they can more easily protect Kluber and Stanton. I would also use the RT on Miggy since he will be bid higher and you would be assured of getting max benefit from his signing with someone else.

I believe Kluber & Stanton also qualify for the $3M, $5M prospect tag.

Well I only bring this up because he's an AL team, we're currently bidding for AL RFA, and we said we should use RFA tags for some of his players

I guess a franchise tag would work...it's really a matter of saving a tag or saving $2M. With that roster, I guess you'd rather save the tag two years from now and franchise him.
