Chad Qualls has a 3.5M option, considering the tight cap space...we should reject that, right?

We need to make a decision on Joe Mauer and Boone Logan for NL RFA. I would easily decline on Logan because he's terrible.
Joe Mauer is more interesting: 4 yrs $44M, $11M AAS 16: $13M 17: $13M 18: $11M 19: $7M
I personally would decline this too...I just don't think he's very good anymore.

I would decline on Mauer as well if we're deciding for Dave. I messaged him today for giggles.

Definitely decline, if we're choosing for him.

What about the Red Sox? Are they an open team? They have expiring and have the 1.5 pick. Someone is going to have to pick for them. I won't weigh in because I am at 1.6.

I'd say pick the next highest player available from the MLB draft. also what's the time limit on the first round? Rays posted 3 hours, schedule says 24 hours. we really need to fix the off season schedule for next year.

There has been a guy with the Orioles in his username logging on to the message board. I would give him a few days to potentially match/decline before we step in.
