Should we consider adding $5,000,000 to each tier cap, allow teams to go up or down one tier with any effect on tags applying in 2019, stay the same or other?

I wanted to make a post with a few different ideas for changes in the league. I don't mind an increase and the option for teams to switch tiers but also depends if we contract a few teams

I am good for any ideas we can kick around here while we still have an active audience.

Cubs, Mariners, Rays and Phils are for sure un-owned. A's? A couple of these teams have little to no value. We need to make a decision on them. But we can't continue to MILB draft for them and let their MLB roster fall apart. I don't have the time to take over another team. For those who say we need to recruit, look at these rosters. Would you take over that team and leave yours? If so great. If not please recruit. Or we need to seriously consider contraction. The good thing is that all four teams are in separate divisions so if we contract there should be no problems. Also two from the NL and two from the AL. Leaves balance.
