What if good owners here take one of the teams with no owner and try to build it?

My self & Mike (Dodgers) are willing to do this. I'm sure a few others would just to keep this at a 30 team league. If we do we couldn't trade with the team that we take.

I'd be in. I'm like you, afraid that this ship might sink and you guys have invested a lot to keep it going. I mentioned an adoption process where we could be the foster parents and hold responsibility to build and to find the new owner. It could be competitive.

Honestly if the available teams had a fresh look and a couple more pcs I bet it wouldn't be that hard of a sell.

We have 6 open teams. Mike & myself are willing to take the worst teams and try to fix team enough for a new owner.

Marlins, Pirates, Mariners, National, Cubs & Padres. I think Ron is already doing the Padres

Seriously if we add say 10 MILB guys with potential at the time of the draft(Diaz Cameron, Adrian Rondon types) that team would be crazy attractive

All trades that these teams make would need to be approved by the TRP anyway

I will any of them honestly. Give me the garbage, I'll clean it up. Wow the Mariners suck and they are in the other league, so I'd be happy to take them on now. Just give me the go ahead.

Twins haven't been on for a decade. Well ok I nearly 4 months.

So this is who as what team so far;

I'm taking the RAYS instead since the Cubs are in my division

Ron (Giants) takes over the Padres
Larry (Brewers) takes over the Rays
CJ (Red Sox) takes over the Marlins
Mike (Dodgers) takes over the Mariners
Anton (DBacks) takes over the Pirates
Nationals
Twins
Cubs

Padres are in my division so if someone wants to take them over I would take the Twins, Nats or Pirates. As long as no one cares about the same division thing I can keep the Pads.

It's no problem with you doing the Padres Ron. 3 more to go

I'm in on this. I posted before I think this is a way to help us make teams more attractive. Add FA, add specs, make deals to help. I'm all about it. I may take one as well. Give me a day to consider my time.

Good for me. No better person to take a good team and make it better in my opinion. I don't think you'll have to do it too long Anton. This and the Rays are by far the best of the orphans.

Thanks for the kind words, I also agree that the rays and pirates are the best off. Maybe we should have every trade that we make for these teams up for review so everyone can agree on the direction of these teams

Yes, every trade needs to be reviewed by the TRP
