The Orioles should be getting better pieces. There's just too much downside. Veto.

Quantity over Quality. We see it way too often.

New is Henry Owens, a huge fly ball pitcher with control problems. Also: Andrew Knapp, who at 25 may have a roll as a backup catcher early, with a chance to become a full-time catcher, though long-term value is hazy. Christian Vazquez gets removed, Yankees take on big salary, with questions about Braun's longevity.
Eh, it's closer. Still don't like it. Definitely quantity over quality. Would like to see Orioles receive a higher upside player in return.

I'm sure if the O's shopped Carrasco he would get more all by himself. We need to stop letting teams gut their rosters only to leave.

I agree. That Red Sox owner we had, what was it...three years ago? He started with a roster with plenty of talent, made terrible trades left and right during the offseason, and then disappeared once the season started with an awful roster. And I warned you guys that was exactly what would happen. Obviously owners in this league aren't going to be happy when their "take advantage of" trades don't get pushed through, but we need to do what's best for the league.

So I guess we're letting both of those NYY/BAL trades go through? Blows my mind a bit, but I suppose at this point they're on the fringe of not being veto-worthy.

I dont think the Braun trade is bad at all if you consider contracts and getting Soler who can still turn into something. The Carrasco one i haven't looked at deep enough to be honest
