I know you guys will say no but maybe we should give some of these teams with limited talent M's and the Padres a couple of supplemental picks not saying first rounders or anything. The padres have no talent it's going to be hard to get anyone to take that team

I agree with you that should be done. But most often it get's shot down. I think we are really lucky to get someone to take the Mariners. The Pad's could be near impossible. At least maybe allow these teams the same option we had last year and let them move up a tier so they have more money to spend. If they would rather keep the tags that works too. But we should at least give them the opportunity to decide.

I agree with this. It just depends on where the picks will be. Teams like myself are rebuilding and have lots of picks. I'm not sure it would be fair to those teams to add picks unless the picks are at the end of the last round.

I agree with this. It just depends on where the picks will be. Teams like myself are rebuilding and have lots of picks. I'm not sure it would be fair to those teams to add picks unless the picks are at the end of the last round.

This was my first thought before posting what I did. I agree that they should get a couple of additional FYPD at the end of the draft if they so choose.

Additionally, I don't want the initial proposal Anton made that the Mariners get a free drop of Prince. He was forced to retire through no fault of his own. The Mariners should not be penalized for that. It's not like they are going to get supplemental draft picks or anything. Let's just let common sense rule the day and put aside our own competitive nature and do what is best for our league not our teams individually.

Ron is right we need to put the league first and try to help some of the weaker teams. As for the picks I have no issue if they are supplemental picks at the end of the round just as long as they get something that will help. We helped a few teams years ago with a draft of dropped players and it made a world of difference obviously we aren't doing that again but anything that will help will go a long way with the league.
