AAS = up to $3M, then MINIMUM 1 yr deal
AAS = $3M+ to $6M, then MINIMUM 2 yr deal (total min contract = $6,000,001 to $12M)
AAS = $6M+ to $9M, then MINIMUM 3 yr deal (total min contract = $18,000,001 to $27M)
AAS = $9M+ to $12M, then MINIMUM 4 yr deal (total min contract = $36,000,001 to $48M)
AAS = $12M+ to $15M, then MINIMUM 5 yr deal
AAS = $15M+, then MINIMUM 6 yr deal
Compensation for Losing Restricted Free Agent:
Based on the AAS contract the player receives in RFA.

Is the bidding period open for AL RFA players? The bidding period has been open since Monday and will conclude after midnight on Sunday. Matching/not matching will proceed next week. |

Like I just told Larry, I also had the impression (albeit apparently false) that AL RFA was already running. Ron's post states "These guys are elgible to be bid on the week of January 18-24." We made a bit of a goof I think.

If we need to, we can extend it 48 hours. We also 2. need to handle tied bids carefully in case a late bid was made due to miscommunication. |

Idea: Run it two weeks. Any bids sent in between Monday 18 and Saturday 23 will have one week added to the sent date. E.g. bid sent Wed. 20 11 a.m. will move up to Wed. 27 11 a.m.
End date will still be January 31, 11:59 p.m.
Complicated but fair(er).
