The White Sox won several players last week with contract offers well above the minimum and have not yet rostered them on Fantrax or Proboards. What do we do? I did not necessarily with Seth on how to handle this because I did not recognize it at the time as a problem. But I think he is right in assessing teams a 50% penalty on players not correctly rostered. He (WS) has been on since the winning bids were posted so he should be aware of the fact he won Lobstein and several others. The FA wins will put him over the cap (so would the 50% penalty) so he has some decisions to make. But making unconditional offers opens you up to this situation. Ignoring it until someone notices isn't right either.

I was under the impression we already had such a rule for signing FA.

I did too. But who is going to enforce it? Do we give him the opportunity to correct it?

Sorry I started my internship and it has been taking up a large chunk of my time. I haven't really been able to log on almost anywhere.

Yea, hes supposed to have 72 hours to get back under limit or he loses most recent signees I believe. I will PM him and make him aware so he knows what he must do.

I just updated his moves on the master list, and I show he is still 3.2 under cap. He does need to pick his guys up tho.
