I had a feeling he wasn't going to take this well...he's been snarky the entire time he's been with us. We have a problem guys...we need to get everything together. We've been going through way too many owners recently and we can't have 6 open spots going into the draft. Plus the ass hole deleted his roster...I hope we can recreate that. This is a pain in the ass.

Him deleting his roster shouldn't he a big deal as long as he didn't touch the spreadsheet. Ron had it updated. Seth can you recreate the yanks team page using the ss minus any price deals.

Well guys, I really don't know were to start. I'm not posting my opinion here to upset or piss off anyone. Please don't take it personal.
Leagues are only as good as the league office is. Not paying attention to details and the rules really hurt leagues. Who ever did the bids should know if bids are illegal before posting. All bids should be posted not just the winner. I realize this takes a lot of time because I do it in the Full Count Dynasty League but it's necessary for everyone to see all bids. It's very important that the LO know the rules and to always be on top of everything. Keeping track of teams and salaries, trades, tags, bids & draft picks is a very important part of running a good league that everyone will enjoy and stay. I've been here from the beginning and IMO this has fallen by the way side. I don't know why but this is most likely the cause of teams leaving. Do we still have a league fee? If we do this should be posted when it's due. Hold owners accountable to pay. Also make new owners pay up front. This eliminates owners joining then trading away everybody then Quit.
Copies of everyone's team roster should be kept somewhere where only league office can access it. Not just the spreadsheet. This avoids what Yankees did.
We have a good LO here. We just stopped paying attention to details. I'm including myself in this because I haven't been as active in this league as I should be. Again, I'm sorry if I pissed off anyone.

I agree with you Larry. We do need to do a better job to make sure this league doesn't completely collapse. I know Jordan and Jared don't have as much time as they did when they created this league 6 years ago and Jason, Shawn, and Ron have done an awesome job keeping this league pretty much together.
But Jason also said that he doesn't have as much time as he used to...I don't know what the coming months will be like for me but as of right now I have enough free time to take on a bigger role if needed. I'm willing to try to get this league more organized and updated...I'm sure I'm not the only one willing to take on a bigger role. Just let me know if you want me to help out.

I agree. For me, the winter months are hard for me to be extremely active. I'm in season and am constantly on the road. We need to fill the Mariners for sure. Yankees now I guess. Mets I think will be more active going forward... I think. I'm pretty sure Shawn is still doing spreadsheet. But if you want to do some more Seth we would love the additional help. Jason may be able to use the help on bids. We could probably use somebody going through and updating all the draft order, or at least double checking it. I'm sure there are some other things.

I have been through the AL East and NL West. I started the NL East yesterday and completed the Marlins. I won't be able to help much today as I am sick.

Nice to see everyone didn't take what I said personality. I'd like to help as much as possible but my time is limited since I take care of bids & finances and keep track of traded draft picks, tags & money in another league.

Larry The truth is the truth, no reason to get upset. My time now is nothing like it was two to three years ago. I barely have enough time to check in a couple minutes a day let alone the time I used to spend, so I apologize for not spreading the word and getting people in place to help fast enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know Seth has asked about being granted permission to access threads that are locked and only be accessed by admin, which I have no doubt he would do a great job but I'm struggling to find the way to grant him that access. That being said I would love to keep up at the pace I have in the past but it's impossible to do so with my family life and work life absorbing most of my time. Jason

Should we veto the yankees trades that haven't been approved since he left Yes I would vote to keep all but the David Price trade and Paxton trade because of Price's contract issue. The Yanks before the latest owner had zero to little talent on both MLB and MiLB rosters but at-least now has an appealing team that has attractive pieces for new owners to take and mold into what ever direction they want to take that team. If you over turn all trades, do we also re-do AL RFA because of the contract offered to Shields? What I'm getting at is where should the line be drawn between returning the team to original state which was extremely poor to keeping the team as is which could be pretty competitive if not more with a few tweaks. I do think we should take back some of his most recent cuts of prospects. Christian arroyo should not have been cut among others.

Yea I think we already decided that all of his prospect cuts to get under the cap would be overturned...I put all of those prospects back on his roster. Also I noticed he put Brandon Crawford in the UFA thread but he still had a year left so I put him back on his roster.

This is really an unfortunate set of events but I am really impressed the way everyone is stepping up. As in many things 80% of the work is usually done by 20% of the individuals. I think that is where we slipped to. I'm actually not upset this happened because it will make our league stronger. If I get back to work tomorrow I will take on another team or two and update the SS. Seth I posted our Felix trade a week or so ago on Fantrax if you want to accept it.
