I don't see a reason to veto this. He's trying to compete and when was last we could say that about the yanks. We do have to watch his cap though.

It's a pass for me too, I don't see it as a veto worthy trade. Jason is right his cap needs to be monitored.

It's a pass for me also. His cap space was a tad over $128M before RT. Depends on what the two teams he has claims against decide to do. I will update it as soon as those are finalized along with these trades he has done today. If they let them go he has about $49M before today's trades available.

I wasn't sure if it was vetoable but I'm not sure I understand this trade. Giving up by far the best player in the trade and taking on some ugly high priced players. I agree, lets keep an eye on the money situation with the Yankees.

If Tulo and Shields are not matched he will be $19,250,000 over cap. If Tulo is matched he stays under. If Shields is matched he is $250K over.

Jimmy appears to be ready to mtach tulo. He asked about a contract that he restructured, so I plan on tulo being matched.

Remember to that any team ia able to go over cap by 10mil 5 players during the offseason but must be at or under by gametime of the first regular season game
