Hey guys, I'm hoping to get an off-season schedule posted in the next few days. Keeps guys around when they have a schedule to look forward to. Here's what I came up with. Let me know if it looks OK and I'll get it posted.
October 1st: Trading open Expiring contracts must have tags attached to be traded
January 1st: All tags must be submitted
January 6-10: AL Restricted Free Agency January 11-17:AL RFA Matching Period
January 20-24: NL Restricted Free Agency January 25-31: NL Matching Period
January 26: FYPD begins 24 hours per pick 1st round 12 hours per pick 2nd round 6 hours per pick rest of the draft
February 10: Unrestricted Free Agency begins CI/MI: Feb 10- Feb 14 OF/C: Feb 17-Feb 21 SP: Feb 24-Feb 28 RP: March 3- March 7
March 10: Minor League Free Agency Position Players- March 10-March 14 Pitchers - March 17-21
Then one more open week of free agency before 1st week of season. How's it look?

Brilliant! It keeps something going from January on.
One suggestion: add a suggested deadline for league fees to be paid by, just to keep it on people's radar.
Also, should we have a deadline for confirming for next year, just so we can start looking for managers before January 1? Like a December 1 or so deadline for confirmation? I don't want January 1 to pass and us have a heap of dead teams.

Yes I was planning to do an activity poll once the season is over (so a couple weeks) to get commitments and then start going to work on that. We have at least 3 empty teams that I know need filling.
