I received the following PM from the Orioles, with several other excuses given to Jordan. so as far as I'm concerned Matthew is gone. He tends to blame everyone else for digging his own grave and having to lye in it, in my humble opinion
Him:
"You can just replace me, I'm not giving up a top 5 pick and still giving the $10. You can have one or the other, yeah yeah yeah, warnings this or warnings that, it's $10 and the last thing on my mind and really forgotten the moment I look at it. Now you want to take my pick and freeze my roster for 10 f**king dollars? When the league dues are under $200 with 30 teams. Not like Jordan and Jared actually do anything to improve this league, I think I brought in the last half dozen or more GM's. Maybe if the league weren't filled with complete pieces of shit, I'd bite my tongue. This will be the first thing I've ever quit in my life, so be proud. Enjoy Anton, Nick, Seth and the rest of the clown squad, I'm out."

"It's your choice to leave and I would rather you didn't leave, but this is not just about you. There are several other teams that have not paid and this should have been taken care of in March/April. I was asked to post the penalties by Jordan, so I have no clue what was said between you and him or him and the other owners. Like I said, I hope you reconsider but if you're dead set on leaving, I wish you the best and I'll talk to you in MSC.

"It's not you at all Jason I think you do yeomen's work in here with little fanfare or applaud. From my perspective it is basically you and Shaun that are running this league now, but Jared and Jordan still have the veto power over you guys for some reason, even though they do practically nothing in here anymore. On top of that add in the fact that Anton, Nick and Seth have a voice in here, makes me gag on my own vomit. I can name off half a dozen or more guys that have quit this league because of them, not to mention David who might be the worst of the bunch, though Anton might actually be the worst human being I've ever had the discomfort of knowing and I've had several friends from the old neighborhood do hard time. Jared talked me out of quitting before the season, I am at that point where I honestly couldn't care any less about this league. I sent Jordan a response, he can have my pick or the $10, but there is noway in hell I am giving both, it's just the principle of the matter. If I leave you'll have a free path to the title every year. Out of all my leagues (and there are a hefty total of them) this has become by far my least favorite, if I am on this site 3 times a week these days that is about it, with most just checking to see if I have a PM and right back off the site. "
