I received the following PM from the Cubs just before I left for vacation, so I'm still trying to figure out where he stands.
"Sorry I missed all the news about paying for the league. Honestly I haven't checked on my team on either site in about a month. Right now I just finished teaching the school year, I'm writing an online course for a school district, coaching three sports teams, teaching summer school, working two part time jobs, and planning a wedding and house shopping since I recently got engaged. With the budget cuts in pa I don't have a full time job for next year so I'm really not looking to spend money on a league that I haven't had much time for lately. It's kinda frustrating because I enjoyed the league and have built a team that can compete. I guess you can do whatever you want. If I can stay in the league ill check when I get time if not i guess you can find a new owner. Just let me know. Thanks."

We need to find replacement GM's ASAP. I feel like this league been a little weak this year. Some new blood would do us good

Well Rich is obviously a better human being than Matthew. Atleast he used actual words in his PM instead of bullshit. I'd more lenient toward his return if he agrees to pay the due eventually.

Now reading Rich's response i feel he can be kept. Matthew is just refusing to pay. Boot Matthew, take Rich's cap or future 1st and give the Rays and Mets their picks back since they payed and shouldn't be punished like the Cubs.

I agree on finding some new GM's. Things have grown stagnant. We need some new blood, less empty teams, and keep things rolling. If anybody wants to make a post or 2 somewhere for GM's please feel free to do so. I am assuming the Orioles is now open if not the Cubbies as well. Plus the Cards, Twins, and maybe a couple others that could be replaced.

I think the Braves might be open again. He has not been on in a month.

Cubs are in but will be limited. Here is a PM I received from Jimmy regarding Rich:
"I spoke with Rich this morning. He wants to remain active in the league. He is finishing up an internship in the next month, which has consumed him over the last few weeks. He has not been home at all and thus his inactivity presently. But he does want to remain a part of the league, and should be more active right about the time the trade deadline comes around.
I also gave Jordan $20 for this year and next year for myself. I will take my extra $10 and cover Rich for this year, and he will square up with me at a later date.
Any questions just PM me. thanks Jason"

Jimmy is a good friend...I give Rich a pass. Just let him know that if he's going to have trouble getting on to just let someone in the league office now.
