Kimbrel is the BEST closer in Baseball. Locked up for 3 years PP. Are you joking? I didnt even vote veto on his last deal i said it was a bad deal. This deal is insane.

Kimbrel had a ERA of 1.0. And also almost average 2 Ks a inning. Perez is a 3.60 and barelyhad a K a inning....Kimbrels value is one of the highest in this league. This has 0 to do with Matthew. If my brother was making this trade id veto it.

I wasn't calling you biased or anything Nick...I just think we may be a bit too trigger happy on posting Matthew's trades up on the TRP. You know I hate him too but I personally just don't think this trade is "that bad"...once again it isn't good but I don't think it's vetoable.
I'm personally a pretty big Chris Perez fan and the guy is also a closer...I don't see how it's the worst thing to ever be posted. I don't like Cahill but the guy was a top prospect and did have a solid season 2 years back...I just don't think this is bad enough for a veto.
I'm voting aprove.

It's a veto to me as well. I think the draft picks pushed me over. Indians team still isn't very good and that pick is going to be decent. I just can't see giving up the best player and prospects (with his picks being way more valuable then either prospect in this deal)

Chris Perez High 3 Era every year isnt even a top 15 closer, strikes out 59 guys and is always at risk to to lose his job and is on a 1 year deal vs The best closer in baseball who is PP-15 and has 2 Ks a inning and not to mention had a 1.0 ERA!.
Kimbrel is regarded as a top 10 Pitcher in any format and in this format his value only goes up. Cahill is a good SP but equal value can be found in Free Agency, he is also PP-13 and may equal the value of the the Indians 1st in FYPD.

Corey sent me a PM so I explained why the Veto. He said he was 100% glad it got vetoed and didnt look into ERA and Ks like he should of. Matthew sugar coating Perez and Cahill to him for a while from what it looks like. I think Corey understands how highly valued Kimbrel now tho.
