Say what you want about Matthew, but the bottom line is he knows is stuff when it comes to baseball. I say we let him run the Mets until an owner is found. The Mets will be a very hard sell and I would like to let Matthew attempt to rebuild the Mets in-attempt to make it a desirable team. The only restriction I would put into place would be Matthew can't make a trade with his Orioles team. It may take a year or two but I think under Matthew's control he could turn the Mets around to be somewhat desirable if not respectable, if he would accept, and he said he would be interested in helping with the dead teams.
I also think we should add comp picks between rounds 2-3, 3-4, & 4-5; to the Mets to help bolster their farm system. Any thoughts or ideas?

I don't think there's much anyone could do with the Mets. If u want to give him the mets I personally don't have an issue with it. We also need to see who in the trp is willing to take over the Rays and the twins. Then we should vote who should takes what team if we have more the two people willing to do it.

OK. But he won't put any player on the mets that he would want. He's not allowed to trade with the mets. Sorry but he is self serving. He ruined 2 leagues by changing rules to help his team

Personally I'd rather we just run each of those teams inside the TRP. I don't trust Matthew at all.

Seems like we have someone for the rays. The Twins however haven't had a real person running them in a while. I think someone need to run the until we have a replacement. Personally im not interested but i know a few trp members have been willing to step up. The Jays and the rockies come to mind. i think we should vote on who would take then over. so what do u guys think?  |

I'm not sure if I'll be able to run the Rays considering this is a big rebuilding year for me. The 2 years I was volunteering to take over I already had an MLB team which just needed some tweaks.

I'm OK with Nick running the Twins. We shouldn't have a hard time finding an owner for the Rays. It's a decent team. I'm in 8 leagues so I'll post the roster and see if we have any takers.

I sent a PM to Nick stating he can run the Twins till an owner is found. That leaves just the Rays. I will email Drew shortly if he is still interested or when Jonathon returns he may take them also.
