Not Sure what everyones thoughts on this is but Alexei Ramirez is on a down year and is no where near Tulo, Montegomery is a busted prospect with 2 terrible years in a row, and Salty is having a good year at a good position and has a good contract so is a good piece in the deal. Just thought it should be up for discussion

I hate the trade but it's fair for this year due to Tulo being hurt and Red Sox looking to improve. I told the guy he's insane for trading Tulo to Matthew but he didn't listen. Now Matthew is going to have Trout, Pujols, Hosmer, Cargo, Ellsbury, and Tulo next year...I'm pretty close to conceding the league to him every year -_-

Hosmer hasnt shown much this year, and Ellsbury is one of the most injury prone players in baseball. His pitching is decent but nothing crazy. Matthew has a very very good team but he is beatable especially when its a one week playoff. Hopefully noone takes Crawfords terrible contract off his hands tho

Knowing the idiots that he smooth talks....someone will. And Hosmer will be fine...just had a brutal first half. I have no doubt he's going to be special still. And Ellsbury is injury prone, but we saw we he did last year...and that was scary good.

IDK man...I put together a solid playoff team last year and I couldn't take him down in the championship.

I think the Angels will give him problems def, and You, the Phillies, and Anton can all compete with him in a series. Just matters who plays better and all of you have a better pitching staff then him

I don't think I have enough depth...I can barely field a team as is. Note to all you guys while competing...manage your money better. 8M+ in releases...if it wasn't for the fact I know I'm rebuilding after the year, I wouldn't have so many huge contracts.

I personally hate the deal for the Sox, and I think he could get a better return on Tulo; but it is not veto worthy.

On a side note, Seth no excuses, I have 14Mil in dead cap space that I am paying on this year... ;D
