I liked the system last year and I forgot to bring this up a bit sooner, but we still have time.
I think that if we are trying to mimic real life waivers, if a player passes through...you should be able to trade him to any team. If someone wants to trade an MLB player in a deal for that waiver player he would also need to pass through. Picks and prospects can be freely dealt. The claiming process stays the same. I think I'm okay with 3 posts, but I think 4 or 5 wouldn't be terrible either.

I have no problem changing it. I dont think we should change the number of players posted per team though

bump since waivers are coming up soon and btw...do you think we could add in the real life player dump if a player is claimed and you don't want anything but to dump the player on the other team?

I like the idea but I also think if a player clears waivers that player can be traded to any team

I am on-board with the part of a player passing waivers can be traded to any team if a deal was not completed with the claiming team. When it comes to the "drop" are you saying you would give the player to the claiming team for free? If so I think I would be on-board. If it is a drop into free agency once a player is claimed and no deal is made, I would be against that. In my opinion that would give a team a free out for a ridiculous contract a team could sign a player.

Say I put Upton on waivers and couldnt work out a deal. I should have the choice to drop him and his salary to the team with the winning waiver claim. (I would never to this) This would make our waiver system just like the one use in baseball.

It would stop teams from putting in a ridiculous amount of claims.

Well I think you get most of it but if a player is claimed by a team and you can't work out a deal, and you don't just dump the player on the other team...than you have to keep him. BUT! If he clears waivers, then you can trade him to any trade for MLB players who also cleared waivers, milb players, or draft picks. Are we still leaving it at 3? Cause I still think 3 isn't enough tbh.

I like the idea of being able to dump contract on team that won waiver claim like MLB does. I also like being able to deal to any team if they pass waivers. I am ok with approving and implementing both.

Alright awesome...change to more waiver posts per team or leave at 3?
I'm in favor of more.
