If I remember correctly from reading the rules, it states that if a player exceeds the 150/50 during the middle of a season, but was kept on your minor league roster all season, he may be kept one additional season on that roster.
Is that the correct interpretation? If it is, then I am assuming that clay bucholz and masterson may be kept as minor leaguers this season,seeing as they were rookies by MLB qualifications this season.
Please clear this up for me so that i can properly select my minor league keepers

A person is no longer considered a minor leaguer the season after they have eclipsed the 150/50 milestone. So buchholz and masterson can not be kept on a minor league roster for the 2009 season because they eclipsed the 50 IP in the 2008 season
