It really shouldn't be that difficult. The various bidding procedures for various 'types of players is ridiculous. Even the person that did the bids doesn't understand the different rules. I bid a one year, $7.1M AAS contract and a signing bonus contract for this guy who, suddenly doesn't fit under either contract guideline?

First off , bids where incorrect and had to be done over, 2nd, Merrill Kelly never pitched in majors so he still remains a prospect and gets a PP contract. He can be bid on in the minor league FA'a. If I'm wrong about Kelly you would win him.

And last, I don't appreciate your attitude. Ron did bids and you should be thankful he's here to keep this league together. We all make mistakes but I went in and corrected them hopefully

That’s the rules we have had in place for 11 years. We can always change things to better the league like we did with RFA compared this season. We just need input and of course we then have a league vote. I will however say this is consistent with other Dynasty leagues and has been discussed in the past and is the best solution.

The IFA was similar to the real MLB structure. We also use Real life Contracts after the bonus. Similar to how a Franchise tag goes to the real life contract.

There are also great benefits to the MILB AAS bid because no one wants to pay a player or have the contract run out while he is still in the minors or maybe only a year.
This way your clock won’t start till major league eligibility on your 4 years(all Dynasty leagues work this way)
