So bids take into account their current standing rather than what they are for 2014 as a whole? In another league or two it's based on what they enter the year since PP won't start for a guy like Shoemaker until 2015 anyways, it's a signing bonus (or plain AAS here) until they have entered their PP years.

In this league it has always been if a player is posted for fa bidding and he is over 50/150 then he needs an mlb deal not an ass bid.
